Job Description

This role is within the PBWM-CAO Strategy, Planning and Governance Group reports directly to the CAO Chief of Staff. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities spanning Governance and Oversight, organizational planning and execution, leading CAO strategic initiatives and key management routines. It involves direct communication and interaction with the PBWM CAO and the Executive Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination, influencing and communication skills and has experience in acting as a senior individual contributor. The candidate also possesses the ability to deal with ambiguity and multi-task, has strong analytical skills, and is detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage tasks and responsibilities associated with the planning, directing, coordination and support of day-to-day activities relating to projects/initiatives for the PBWM Chief Administrative Officer.

+ Lead, organize and oversee PBWM and CAO Strategic Initiatives while ensuring proper engagement for activities at all levels, while maintaining appropriate accountability. This includes managing Governance Committee, Board Meeting material and developing executive talking points for Executive Leadership team for internal and external engagements.

+ Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across Citi at all levels, lines of businesses, functions, and locations, to drive organizational priorities

+ Drive development of CAO strategy and objectives, mapping of accomplishments to the core pillars of the strategy and creating materials to communicate strategy to broader organization

+ Own and drive PBWM global reporting routines as they relate to top key risk and control activities, issues, metrics, scorecard, etc. and present/communicate to senior management as necessary on initiatives such as Model Risk Management, Significant Organizational Changes, Governance Committee routines and follow-ups. Support and respond to internal queries and challenge from functional partners and LOB stakeholders.

+ Interact with the CAO Org PMO Office, including oversight and change management disciples for the organizational PMO.

+ Monitor management’s progress in achieving stated objectives and ensuring effective communication of progress as needed.

+ Deliver efficiencies within PBWM and CAO by tracking and maintaining a consistent strategic view and planning priorities.

Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of experience in financial services

+ Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders

+ Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts

+ Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures

+ Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments

+ Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness and ability to work across all levels of organization

+ Strong leadership/executive presence, communication skills, including proven experience in developing senior executive presentations and communications, distilling complex subjects into succinct updatesAbility to influence teams, with non-direct reporting lines, including teams comprised of senior managers

+ Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail

+ Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders

+ Organized and self-directed; able to manage multiple tasks / activities concurrently

+ Critical thinking and problem solving skills

+ Adaptable and flexible; comfortable working under ambiguous, changing conditions

+ Project Management experience a plus

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Master’s degree preferred
