Design Operations Program Manager, Card & Bank Design

What You'll Do:

As the Design Operations Program Manager, you will support the enablement of the User Experience and Design Operations teams through centralized tools, systems, and reporting that enhance the standardization and quality of how we operate.

This role will work closely with peer Operations Strategists, Design Portfolio Managers, and Head of PMO User Experience to evolve our operating model and raise the bar for our practice on a daily basis

Manage and host design office hours and Design Reviews to focus on intake, prioritization, and management of the fast-lane engagements

Provide program management and operational support throughout our design organization and across portfolio teams teams by increasing communication and connection points, and standardizing how we work together as an organization

Drive governance, processes and communication for Design Leadership

Play an integral role in supporting the organization's quarterly portfolio strategic planning activities

Measure and track Design metrics of success through reporting / data visualizations to effectively communicate the value of Design's work to the business

Manage Design's resources and vendors within each Program you oversee, and supporting the case for advocating for additional resources that align with the growth

Manage and iterate on the process for identifying, prioritizing and staffing work towards efficiency

Support executing on strategic initiatives in partnership with cross functional Subject Matter Experts / working groups

Work closely with the Leadership Team to drive, develop and execute on the vision and operating model of Experience Design

Develop and establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Able to facilitate the right balance between not enough process (chaos) and too much (bureaucracy)

Collaborate with design leadership, planning and leading planning activities

Manage user access to design tools and software, making sure designers have what they need to do their jobs

Streamline and manage the onboarding of new associates on behalf of the hiring managers

Serve as the change agent for any new process roll outs and conduct any education and training on new processes for our stakeholders

Identify needs and create a strategy to establish rituals and norms that support a culture of growth, inclusion, and authenticity through workshops, fun events, and connections

Continuously seek ways to improve the processes and practices

Basic Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience with program management, project management, or scrum project management

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset

Familiarity supporting a PMO and change management methodologies

Familiarity project management methodologies and tools

Familiarity with data visualization and creating automated reporting and modeling
