Entity and activity description

The GM&T WBU delivers technological solutions (molecules, equipment and services) to support the new markets of energy transition, maritime logistics and scientific exploration, in order to accelerate Air Liquide sustainable growth.
To support the energy transition, GM&T brings environmentally friendly solutions to the clean energy market with hydrogen energy and Bio-Natural Gas for vehicles, refrigerated transport using nitrogen, but also the treatment and injection of Biogas into the energy grid as a local power source.

Job Responsibilities

The Front Desk Receptionist for our Newport manufacturing plant will be responsible for greeting guests, handling front administration duties, answering phones, fielding company inquiries, and receiving front desk deliveries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Coordinates prescription safety glasses for new hire and reordering for employees
Ensures that visitors receive safety awareness training.
Maintains security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges.
Assists in maintaining security systems, as directed by HSE (Health Safety Environmental) management.
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains selected safety records, as directed by HSE management.
Provides administrative support for the company uniform program.
Performs selected Oracle ERP transactions and generates reports, as directed by Supply Chain management.
Provides miscellaneous administrative services, as directed by Operational Excellence or HR management.
Qualifications and Competencies

Required
High school diploma or GED
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Docs applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively work on multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem resolution and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Preferred
Minimum of 1 year of general administrative experience
