Christiana Care is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Director and coordinate the overall endeavors of the Gene Editing Institute in a highly professional and efficient manner ensuring confidentiality of all matters. The Executive Assistant has a strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, identifies as a continuous learner, with inherent instincts to solving problems, and has a drive for excellence.

Advanced knowledge of online tools and software such as Google Drive, Outlook, and Zoom.

Principal duties and responsibilities:
Provides administrative support by attending meetings, completes high level summaries, composes agenda, drafts and types correspondence, schedules meetings, maintains up to date filing systems, screens calls and messages.
Schedules executives' calendar using e-mail calendar system (Microsoft Outlook) and provides all pertinent information needed for scheduled appointments.
Coordinates Board of Managers quarterly meeting including management of Board Effect platform, meeting logistics, preparation of agenda and meeting minutes.
Provides daily administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior leaders
Anticipates Executive Director's needs, and aids to ensure they are prepared for daily activities.
Screens correspondence/mail, sorts and prioritizes, bringing items for immediate action to Executive's attention.
Builds PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external audiences. Demonstrates keen understanding of diversity in audience and adjusts style/tone accordingly.
Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business.
Schedules meetings, including advising attendees, reserving rooms, arranging meals and refreshments, equipment, and other support materials.
Manages and builds expenses reports
Arranges travel reservations, orders ticket, makes and confirms lodging and airline reservations
Hours: Day Shift
Education and experience requirements:
Two-year business degree and 3 + equivalent years or 4- 5 + years of experience providing administrative support to executives
Experience in a healthcare and/or university setting with a research/development team is a plus
