The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial reporting, analysis, and accounting functions of the Trust Division within our Wealth Management business. This position will allow a dynamic individual to impact a thriving, growth-oriented business by providing strategic and tactical financial support.


  • Own financial performance reporting process
  • Collaborate with business line leaders to set strategic goals, establish financial plans (budgets/forecasts) and measure performance versus targets
  • Produce reporting packages including driver-based analysis
  • Actively interpret and review key drivers of performance
  • Communicate financial results to key audiences including senior management, boards and regulatory entities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the business (Management, Operations, Research) and across the broader company (Business Planning & Analysis, Chief Accounting Office, Human Resources, Legal & Audit)
  • Maintain and enhance procedures, controls and documentation
  • Perform accounting activities including reconciliations, general ledger entry preparation/review, month-end closes
  • Filing of external and statutory reports with the respective authorities
  • Participate or lead special projects such as system implementation and other ad hoc requests
  • Oversee delegation, training and supervision of junior team members
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience
  • years of accounting or finance experience in the financial services industry
  • Superb technology skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage changing priorities, be extremely detail oriented and successfully work under strict deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, teamwork and influence
  • Innovative mindset to drive continual improvement
  • Strong, effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime during peak reporting and filing periods
  • Strong work ethic and business acumen with an inherent curious instinct
  • Strong technical, analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills
  • Thrives in dynamic, energetic and driven environments
  • Ability to present complex financial information in simple terms
  • Experience in collaborating to set up new processes, with strong analytic capability
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP .
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or certification (MBA, CPA, CFA)
  • Prior Wealth Management or Trust industry experience
  • Any of the following technological skills: Oracle GL, Essbase/Smartview, SEI Trust 3000, Orion, Qlikview, Power BI, Sage Intacct
