Senior Manager, Cyber Data Governance (Remote Eligible)
As a Senior Manager in Capital One's Cyber Data Management team, you are a demonstrated leader and passionate about data governance, compliance and security. You see data governance as a key enabler and differentiator to enable the overall security of the enterprise. You are confident in your knowledge of data governance, but also willing to know when to pull in experts and escalate. You will lead a team of Data Management Specialists responsible for working across the enterprise to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions to ensure Capital One Cyber's continued stability and success. Living in the Risk organization within Cyber, Senior Managers partner with teams both inside and outside of Cyber to identify areas of risk in their data management posture in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded.
Cyber Data Management professionals are highly motivated with excellent project management and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across Cyber and the lines of business, and are given the opportunity to work with executives to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.
Responsibilities:
This role supports Cyber's horizontal program governance for Enterprise Data Risk Management (EDM) and Enterprise Data Strategy (EDS). Specifically, this role will:
Provide oversight and governance for adoption of Enterprise-wide data platforms
Develop and implement a risk service model that meets EDRM policy requirements
Identify and enhance data governance controls and monitoring needed
Develop an effective engagement model between Cyber teams, EDRM leads and EDS leads to ensure consistency across the Enterprise
Identify and support Enterprise-wide risk metrics and reporting
Proactively identify process improvements that will improve Cyber's data risk management practices
Translate business strategies into actionable business-oriented data management strategies for Cyber
Collaborate effectively across multiple organizations to achieve objectives
Support innovation through process improvements and automation
Support ad hoc projects

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 7 years of Risk Management experience
At least 5 years of Project Management experience
At least 5 years of experience with Enterprise Data Management processes
At least 5 years of experience with internal business clients
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
8+ years of Risk Management experience
7+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
7+ years of experience with Enterprise Data Management processes
1+ years of JIRA or Confluence experience
PMP Certification or Certified Project Master (CPM)
