LPN - Outpatient Call Center
Full-Time 8 hour Day Shift (Hours: 7:30a - 530p)
ChristianaCare is currently seeking a LPN to work in our Outpatient Call Center located in Wilmington, DE. In this role, the selected individual will be responsible for providing telephonic, identification and fulfillment of prescription requests and may include limited health education services for a variety of patients.
Primary responsibility will be to assist with prescription refill requests and processing
Receives incoming telephone prescription requests with occasional e-mail and fax communication from patients.
Adapts communication style to persons representing diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Refers calls requiring a provider's response as medically necessary.
Screens and responds to patient phone calls, directing to Clinicians as needed.
If needed, schedules appointments based on necessity, by offering the earliest appointment available with each Clinician.

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Board issue license for practical nurse (LPN) and graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required.
Two years of experience working as a LPN required in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
