Job Description
Christiana Care, Primary Care at Greenville is looking for a Medical Assistant.
The Greenville location is on Kennett Pike in Greenville, Delaware. Greenville offers a range of services, that includes physical examinations, preventative health screenings and immunizations, chronic disease management and much more.
You will be joining a team of six physicians, two nurse practitioners, three registered nurses, seven medical assistants and four office assistants.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am to 5pm
No holidays required.
Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Qualification Requirements:
2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is preferred but not required.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required.
