Job Summary (Primary function)
The Senior Manager, ERP System Administrator Technical Services will be responsible managing an SAP environment on a day-to-day basis. The responsibilities typically include configuring, monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting the SAP environment as well as analysis, design, development, and testing of SAP security components and user access controls for SAP S/4HANA & Fiori. He/She will also maintain close daily contact with vendor led SAP Basis team (SAP HEC) regarding assignments, work progress and statuses.
The principal responsibilities of this position include:
Configuration and support all SAP Basis technologies.
Supporting and coordinating all SAP security activities associated with the SAP environment as well as the integration of accounts with PeopleSoft HRMS.
Maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP security components.
Configuring CPI related items and related components with S/4HANA.
Significant collaboration with IT Business Partners to successfully plan and deliver the technical environment and security components of SAP projects.
Maintaining compliance of associated internal and external regulations and controls for both project and support environments.
Demonstrated commitment to Incyte's CSV and SOX controls during both project and operational activities in support of SAP.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
Work collaboratively with vendor led SAP Basis team (SAP HEC) regarding day-to-day SAP support activities, SAP software version and release upgrades.
Work jointly with the Incyte and third party resources responsible for security, integration, and monitoring activities.
Collaborate with the SAP ABAP development team, review & application of SAP notes and bug fixes.
Work closely with the SAP Security team, review SAP access, authorizations and business roles.
Participate in SOX controls and GxP audit activities.
Work closely with external auditors, SOD analysis and reporting.
Configure the connectivity to external interfaces APIs such as Blackline, OpenText & Werum.
Interface with other IT and Business teams as needed to coordinate and support existing operations and new initiatives.
Execute support activities related to SAP, including proactive issue identification through ticket resolution, planning and oversight of maintenance windows and activities, and responding to ad hoc requests from Business users or other IT resources.
Perform weekly review of SAP security notes and patching activities and closely work with vendor led SAP Basis team (SAP HEC).
Configure and support SAP CPI.
Using solid knowledge and best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users to provide the most effective and efficient technical solutions to fulfill the business needs.
Provide technical support for SAP issues, including the most complex challenges, like system dumps, job management, printer and spool administration, along with enabling SAP user community in all matters related to SAP.
Contribute to testing of SAP's disaster recovery solutions.
Strong analytical, problem solving skills.
Team player with good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ensure full documentation of existing deployed technologies, system changes to existing technologies, and newly implemented technologies in accordance with policies, good system practices, and any controls/audit requirements.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
BS degree required in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of ten years of proven Information Systems experience, with at least ten years of SAP technical experience based in Basis, Security, and GRC.
Prior experience with cloud products as well as well as the specific SAP products or their predecessors S/4HANA 1909, GRC 12, Fiori, IBP, SAC, and CPI.
Minimum 4 years of HANA Database administration skills in HANA 2.0
