To perform patient registration and scheduling in a busy outpatient office; including obtaining financial and clinical information, insurance data and authorizations.

Register and schedule patients efficiently and accurately in Soarian and RevenueCycle systems.
Prepares all required documents for patient charts
Answers all phone calls in a professional manner and relays accurate messages
Greets and interacts with patients in a professional manner in order to collect financial information and patient demographics. Processes/verifies referral information and eligibility for insurance reimbursement as needed
Requests and obtains medical records in preparation for patient's arrival
Route and/or fax reports to physician offices
Communicate with provider and staff through EMR
Communicate with internal and external departments
Responsible for completing and documenting reminder calls to all patients.
Performs computer related activities and duties.
Interacts for solution of "routine problems" as they may occur to achieve customer satisfaction.
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
Performs other related duties as required.

High school graduate or equivalent.
Two to three years of experience in a private medical office or hospital department (Medical Setting)
