Staffmark is currently hiring for Machine Operator - Extrusion with our premier client located in Newark, DE! Previous Machine Operator required, and a great attitude is a must! Temp to Hire with career & financial growth in your near future!
Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 + based on experience!
1st shift - Mon - Thurs 10:00am-8:30pm
2nd shift - Mon - Thurs - 8:00pm-6:00am OR 10:00pm-8:00am
Requirements of a Machine Operator- Extrusion:
Previous experience is required!
Mechanical Aptitude is a plus!
Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
Ability to learn new job skills!
Punctual & reliable!
What are you doing as a Machine Operator-Extrusion?
Resolve setup procedures.
Specify lengths and weights of rolls.
Loading resin hoppers.
Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings, and temperature.
Synchronize speed of extrusion.
Check for conformance to specifications.
Adjust controls as necessary.
Install, connect, test, and adjust equipment.
Remove excess, entangled, or completed filaments.
Operate machines that extrude filaments from synthetic materials/polymers.
Activate and adjust extruding machines.
Other duties as assigned
