The Information Technology function relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals through implementation of industry best practice methodologies, governance, and tooling. The Sr.
Administrator role is responsible for administration of the Salesforce Platform, including system configuration, maintenance, enhancements and upgrades, data integrity, deployments, security, end-user support, documentation, and governance and efficient operations of a core functional area (Service Desk operations, Infrastructure, or Business Applications) working in concert with other technology and business leaders within Certara.
The role requires thorough understanding of Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities. This is an Administrator role, but the candidate should be comfortable being hand-on and leveraging the skills of cross-functional teams to gain successful outcomes.

Ensure team composition is highly diverse in experience, background, and geography
Configure and customize standard & custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, validation rules, triggers, workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within Salesforce platform.
Responsible for importing and exporting data from Salesforce as needed using tools like Import Wizard, Data Loader or Workbench.
Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules).
Generate Reports & Dashboards.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Applications or Engineering.
Overall 5+ years of business systems administration and prefer Netsuite and Mavenlink experience
Hands on experience in configuration and customization standard & custom objects, validations rules, workflows, process builder, flows and managed packages.
Experience with object-oriented languages and OOAD principles and methodologies.
Should understand Agile delivery process and tools such as JIRA.
Experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results
Highly organized with ability to document technical systems with consistency
Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems
