Description:

The EFT Support Specialist will provide support to both internal and external customers. The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of daily tasks including account servicing and/or day-two operations including the following: wire transfer processing daily settlement, system/caller maintenance, mail teller transactions account closings, miscellaneous mailings, ACH daily tasks, reports, and support. The EFT Support Specialist requires ability to perform a variety of routine and non-routine clerical and settlement functions in accordance with standard procedures and applicable Regulations. The incumbent may assist management with updating department procedures and contacts other departments and internal customers to resolve problems daily. The EFT Support Specialist will complete all assigned ACH/EFT tasks consistently to meet or exceed the departments designated SLA’s; process all transactions by following established rules and regulations including but not limited to Regulation J, NACHA operating rules, Regulation E, and Regulation O. The EFT Support Specialist will actively participate in Impact Planning meetings and assist in the completion of team plans and participate in training sessions that are applicable to ACH/EFT and Deposit Services processes including but not limited to EFT (wire transfers) and ACH.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have 2 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in a transaction service operation or high-volume, deadline-oriented service environment.
  • Must have practical knowledge of appropriate government regulations regarding ACH and wire transfers.
  • Must have proven track record of meeting and exceeding established production and service quality goals.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Software products and core banking applications.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
