The Wellness Coach assures that all operational procedures are follwed. The Wellness Coach is responsible for utilizing psychriatric rehabilitation principles to promote recovery, community integration and improved quality of life for residents through collaboration with consumers, team members, family members, significant others and collateral resources. The Wellness Coach will assist team members and other providers with an understanding of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Model and the day-to-day practice of this modality. Wellness Coach is responsible for working in accordance with the values and policies of RHD.
+ Work Hours: Shifts available- Friday’s 3PM-11PM; Every other Saturday 7AM-3PM; Saturday 3PM-11PM
+ Work Schedule for Part Time is typically 16 hours every 2 weeks with so much flexibility in scheduling. Weekends are preferred. You can pick up additional shifts as available.
+ Hourly Rate: $16.56
+ Utilizing psychiatric rehabilitation principles to promote recovery, full community integration and improved quality of life for residents.
+ To maintain a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment that fosters growth and rehabilitation as well as facilitates the development of natural supports and self-help skills.
+ To engage consumers in a trusting and supportive relationship, providing emotional support within the professional boundaries, as needed.
+ To support the individualized recovery plans developed with consumers with the aim of achieving and maintaining physical health, mental health, and emotional well-being as well as participating in the recovery process.
+ To assist the consumer to reach the goals he or she has set in their recovery plan.
+ Practice and encourage advocacy activities to enable self-advocacy efforts.
+ Administer medication.
+ Complere required documentation.
+ Support residents in activities of daily living, meal preparation, toileting, hygiene as appropriate.
+ Assist in community Integration Activities and access to community supports including medical appointments, social security access, etc.
+ Complete all other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.
+ 1-2 years of residential/long-term care experience preferred.
+ 1-2 years working in an environment that supports those with mental illness or developmental disabilities.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service Discipline
+ Bachelor’s degree is required
+ Basic computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
+ Valid Driver’s License
+ Must Pass Background
+ Must Pass Drug Screening
+ CPR and/or BLS certified preferred
+ Two-step TB Test required
+ If not Fully vaccinated for COVID you will be required to provide Weekly COVID test results to be work eligible.
+ Must be able to use a computer and provide clinical documentation of services.
+ Medium Physical Requirements: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
