 Description/Job Summary

Great opportunity to work in Behavior/Mental Health Group Home with focus on providing person centered care/individualized medical and mental healthcare to our eifive residents (Males) and help the residents thrive and become more independent.
RHD (Resources for Human Development) Montrose Drive Group Home is seeking Register Nurse with an interest and understanding of individuals in Behavioral and Mental Health to join our program located in Newark DE.
Availability to work Day Shift.

Direct Care
Administer and/or oversee the administration of medication as prescribed by the physician of record to all consumers within the program(s) to which they are assigned.
Obtain accurate vital statistics (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, etc.) for purposes of effective treatment as needed per program parameters.
Assess and respond to new/potential/ ongoing health issues in persons served.
Complete home visits as required by the funder, if applicable.

Act as part of a multidisciplinary team designed to provide services from a holistic and Values based perspective
Manage the ordering, delivery, and storage of medications for the people served in accordance with the specific program or service
Complete documentation as required by RHD, funder/licensing/accreditation bodies

Training and Development
Provide education to both people served and staff regarding common health concerns.
Provide training to staff as required/requested in order to best meet the needs of people served.
All other duties as assigned.
 Required Experience
Preference 1 year of experience preferably in community, home-based settings or nursing home.
 Required Education

A graduate of a school of professional Nursing (AD, hospital, or BSN); BSN preferred.
Current license to practice in the state of operation
 Required Qualifications

Valid Driver License
Excellent comunication and written skills
Ability to work in a team environmet
Critical thinking
Ability to identify crisis situations and follow protocols and procedures to resolve/address/follow up
Ability to collaborate with Assitant Unit Director, Staff, other team members regarding any medical issues

Program Summary

RHD Montrose Drive Group Home is a Mental Health Facility for 5 males. Most of our gentelmen are older, and are physically compromized. MDHH provides 24/7 care to the residents. We are a great team of people who strive to make sure our residents live their best lives. We are looking to extend our team with a compassionate, caring, responsible pesople , who are eager to experince the reward from helping others.
Hours that are available are only day shift (7am-3pm), including weekends.
I will not be able to assit with the employment if candidates' availability is evenings.
