Jefferson Street Group Home is part of RHD Delaware Group Homes provides 24/7 assistance for adults with mental health diagnoses. Compassionate care and outstanding services to our 8 high functioning residents (4 males and 4 females) are core values of this program. The program is looking for full time, part-time/ on call Direct Support Professionals.
Located 2 minutes from Christiana Wilmington Campus Hospital.
Bachelor Degree is required for this position. $16.56 hourly Avaiable shifts:
Full Time: Day Shift 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (full time offers benefits medical, eye, dental and paid time off)
Part Time Shifts: Every other weekend
Overnight Shift Friday and Saturday 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. and Saturday and Sunday 12:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday Day Shift 7:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
The mission of Resources for Human Development (RHD) is to provide caring, effective and innovative services that empower people of all abilities as they build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities. RHD’s multi-faceted programs serve people with a variety of challenges that include intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, substance abuse and homelessness.
Provide supervision of individuals with the person centered ISP; supporting individuals to work towards their goals and other person centered support plans.
Complete required daily documentation and other assigned documentation in EHR (Avatar).
Become LLAM certified and administer medications to the residents. Provide transportation to residents for medical appointments and community outings.
Support consumers in activites of daily living, meal prep, hygiene, laundry, meet goals on residents treatment plans, ect… Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Attend monthly staff meetings currently via Zoom.
Run groups with residents.
Complete assigned monthly trainings (online via Cornerstone).
Maintain annual TB/PPD, LLAM Training (medication administration), and First Aid CPR certification.
Other duties as Assigned.
Prior experience in social sevices, or human services preferred
Required EducationBachelors Degree in social sevices, human services, psychology, behavioral health or related degree preferred and experience in mental health.
Required QualificationsValid Drivers license
Prior experience in Mental and Bevaoiral Health Group Home (Preferred)
Covid vaccination or weekly testing.
