Third Party Services Team is responsible for integration of Risk Third Party Data into a Data Service Utility driven by Business Strategy and Architecture Target State. Data and IT functionality is used to support implementations for all Decision and Scoring Engines in risk. We manage the Book of Work for the Data Service that spans the entire Risk lifecycle from New Account Offer Generation, Underwriting, Account Management and Collections, and Fraud Risk.
We are looking to hire an experienced Data Management Lead to join the Third Party Services Risk Product Team to help execute transformational Control vision and enhancements for the data that is moved to analytical data sources. Role will require understanding how data is moved across our databases and understanding the table structure and executing queries to monitor accuracy of data. At times this will require elaborating Stories, leading requirement elicitation sessions, addressing questions from developers and supporting other product owners and area product owners. This will include Milestone Management, status updates to program sponsors, and coordinating dependencies with partners and other products if applicable.
The Delivery Manager in this role will help plan and execute data control solutions that impact the business and deliver results. The successful candidate will be an independent thinker, team player and results driven with strong attention to detail.
+ The ideal candidate will have some Agile product team experience or at least interact with Agile teams.
+ The candidate will demonstrate proven skills to support product areas in a fast paced environment with good knowledge of data used in one or more of the Risk Decision Engines.
+ The candidate must have excellent knowledge of databases and technical skills to run SQL queries to monitor data quality and ensure data movement reconciles.
+ The candidate ensures initiatives/capabilities are completed in accordance with all Risk, IT, and other relevant firm-wide data guidelines.
+ To be successful this individual will build and leverage partnerships across business, IT groups, and Third Party Vendors following best practices for Agile delivery and reporting.
+ They must be able to resolve conflicts while escalating and/or proactively identifying solutions and solving problems early in the agile process. This individual must ensure priorities and deadlines are achieved and communicated effectively with various levels of stakeholders and management.
+ Facilitate product agile meetings and create materials to be used for presentation at working group and senior management meetings
+ Partner with Technology Manager and Development teams and ensure all business deliverables and tasks are completed
+ Present recommendations in a business-friendly way that identifies any issues, details business/client impact, and builds a business case and consensus for implementation
+ 3+ years’ experience in data querying and/or data quality role(s)
+ Technical expertise with querying tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc..
+ Previous experience in large scale projects and in a matrix environment
+ Ability to work with IT and an understanding of the development life cycle in an Agile delivery environment
+ Experience in data management/quality methodologies and execution of data controls
+ Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work for self and others
+ Ability to provide Management reporting on project status and overall book of work tied to data quality. Use tools like Jira, SharePoint, Visio to manage the backlog
+ Risk Management or business product management experience preferred
+ Prior Agility experience preferred, but not required
