Nursing Assistant Specialists give patients important social and economical support and also provide vital information on patient conditions to nurses. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge base necessary to become a Nursing Assistant Specialist including; basic medical terminology, procedures and techniques. This program provides an emphasis of care and safety of patients, effective communication, documentation of medical histories and medical files.
Minimum Requirements: Students must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED.
