Description
Hemodialysis Technicians work closely with patients who are classified as acute care or chronically ill requiring you to perform basic nursing and phlebotomy skills. Hemodialysis Technician duties may include: setup and operation of treatment machines, maintaining a clean work setting, communicating with members of the medical team, and providing physical and emotional support to the patients.
This 600-hour course offers you the opportunity to earn stackable credentials in the areas of Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, and Hemodialysis Technician.
Tuition includes textbooks, exam fees, BLS certification, supplies, and background check/drug screening.
Prerequisite: Attendance at an Information Session.
Minimum 10th grade level equivalent in reading required; Accuplacer placement test. GED or high school diploma highly recommended. 18 years of age

For a full refund, you must contact the Workforce Development and Community Education office at least 72 hours before the first
session. Withdrawals within the first week receive a 75% refund. Refunds are not given for classes that have three or fewer sessions, with the exception of the above 72-hour refund request. Please note that there are some courses with different refund policies.
