18 Years of age or older, TABE test result, Placement assessment test; 8th Grade level and up Math,
Reading and Writing.
Program Description
This 5 weeks course provides the students with extensive knowledge and skills that allow them to be able to
effectively test the electronic activity of the heart, precisely place small electrode patches on to the body in an all
health care settings, from acute care fare facilities to long term care facilities, emergency clinics and
Doctors offices.
The students will extensively gain skills that are not limited to the following; setting and administering EKGs
and stress tests, prepare patient for ambulation, schedule appointment and transcribe physician orders.
