Medical administrative assistants primarily work in doctor’s offices, clinics, outpatient settings, hospitals, and other healthcare settings. Medical administrative assistants, medical secretaries, and medical records clerks are all positions in great demand. Students who successfully complete the program will be prepared to sit for the National Health career Association (NHA) Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) Exam, National Health career Association (NHA) Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) Exam.
