System One is hiring an R&D Technician full time, long term contract opportunity. This opportunity requires a Bachelors in Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering OR several years of demonstrated experience. The pay range is $23-$29 per hour depending on education and experience.

Recruiting Coordinator Job Description

The candidate will assume a variety of responsibilities in support of the NMR group within the Analytical Sciences Laboratories located in Experimental Stations, Wilmington, DE. The candidate will work under the direction of technical staff to provide analytical support for R&D, TS&D and Manufacturing as needed.

Skills in sample preparation and experience with a variety of lab equipments in a chemical laboratory setting are highly desirable. Prior NMR experience is highly preferred. The ability to interpret NMR data would be a plus but is not a requirement. An ability to work well with other people under tight timelines and conflicting priorities is critical.

Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in chemistry, materials science, physics, or engineering or demonstration of equivalent knowledge acquired in on-the-job training.

Recruiter Coordinator Responsibilities

+ Preparation of samples, reagents and standards for NMR analysis, following a standard procedure

+ NMR Data acquisition and assessing basic data quality

+ Perform routine instrument operation and maintenance (cryogen fills)

+ Dispose of lab waste, following a set protocol

+ Cleaning and restocking lab areas as needed.

+ Maintain the walk-up instrumentation and workflo
