Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is technical support to operations including troubleshooting complex automation and control problems, determining root cause and implementation of solutions. The position requires advanced skills in creating/modifying/troubleshooting complex software systems including, robotics, PLCs, motion control, vision systems, SCADA systems, OEE tracking applications and other advanced technologies for automated medical diagnostic consumable device manufacturing equipment in a constantly changing fast-paced environment. The ability to work in both new design and existing machine upgrades within a regulated environment is mandatory. The capability to manage multiple priorities successfully while working on multiple projects and previous experience working in operations is important. Self starting, excellent troubleshooting, communication, organization and prioritization skills are critical to success. Provide automation and software control support to the Glasgow Reagent Manufacturing organization. Project management, communication, and troubleshooting skills are key.
