Job Description

TITLE – Quality Assurance Manager – Day Shift / 55k or more depending on experience
Key Responsibilities -
? Demonstrate leadership with training all employees with food safety and GMPs
? Manage quality department employees related to production
? Oversee and maintain Quality and Food Safety systems
? Create and advise GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and SOP guidelines
? Lead internal and third-party audits
? Work closely with production management staff to ensure safety and cleanliness
? Carries out routine Critical Control Point and Critical Quality Point monitoring and controls measures at JFFD Commissary
? Carries out routine Control Points (CP’s) and Quality Points (QP’s) monitoring and control measures at JFFD Commissary.
? Establish corrective actions and conducts follow-ups to ensure correct actions are implemented
? Support development and implementation of internal company wide document control management system for all regulatory for food safety and quality programs
? Implements JFFD quality standards for health and safety
? Lead performance and quality control efforts
? Investigate quality complaints; document complaint, investigation, conclusion and any related recommendations for customer or company actions. Work with customer to fully resolve the issue. ? Compile and analyze quality performance data to identify areas for operational improvement.
? Develop reports and reporting processes for data and resulting analysis and recommendations to be delivered to management.
? Participate on project teams such as the development of new products or new processes or the installation of new equipment by providing analyses on quality impact and needs.
? Hire, train, develop, discipline and terminate quality department staff.
? Maintain personal knowledge of current and developing government food regulations and food industry trends.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
