POSITION TITLE:        Assistant Construction Clean Up Manager

PAY LEVEL:                    Level 4 

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

 

POSITION REPORTS TO:             Sr. Regional Janitorial Operations Manager

POSITION (S) SUPERVISED:      Janitorial Supervisors, General Cleaners 

TEAM MEMBERSHIP:                   EXECUTIVE     LEADERSHIP  QUALITY  MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

 

POSITION PURPOSE 

The Assistant Construction Clean Up Manager is responsible for overseeing janitorial construction clean up services at one or more contract locations or serves as a specialist for a utility crew in an area such as floors, carpets, or other specialty area.  The individual ensures quality service for all contract sites or assignments and works directly with the Janitorial Supervisors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  1. Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure safe working conditions for the area supervised.
  2. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality and professional work environment. 

  3. Oversee daily operations of all internal and external janitorial construction clean up services.

  4. Keep organized records of all inventory, equipment and service contracts.
  5. Set up information tracking systems for bidding process, quality assurance standards, and inventory and revenue generation, as related to each contract standard.

  6. Ensure quality standards of all contract assignments.
  7. Coordinate structure and schedule work flow to meet requirements of contract requirements.

  8. Provide support services necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
  9. Janitorial Sr. Regional Janitorial Operations Manager and Janitorial Director of progress, problems and new developments on a regular basis.

  10. Work cooperatively with all customers to provide quality service.
  11. Create work schedules for Janitorial Supervisors and their staff.
  12. Ensure maximum security and protection of company assets.
  13. Follow company policies and procedures and ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

  14. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  15. Must ensure team is properly staffed and participate in interviewing and selecting candidates.

  16. Must be available to work weekends, nights, days and overnights based on job requirements.
  17. Must attend all MST training sessions and/or any other training sessions assigned by management.  In addition to committee\team activities.

  18. All other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.   Extensive hands on experience in janitorial construction clean up field with demonstrated capability to develop and lead a janitorial crew.  Must have 2+ years of management experience.  And have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
