Job Description

Corporate Technology (CT) teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.

A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems. Teams focus on:

• Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm’s regulatory commitments by adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions.

• Driving innovation across the firm’s corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles

• Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency

The candidate will be part of the CCB RFT (Risk and Finance Technology) strategic team that drives to design, develop and deliver the target state implementation of the highly scalable Model Risk Governance & Review (MRGR) framework and solution to support full model lifecycle management across the LOBs. The candidate will be part of the team that builds upon a single MRGR technology platform to ensure integration of model inventory, workflow, review, validation, approvals, ongoing monitoring, annual review and reporting, etc. across LOBs. The candidate will also work in driving target architecture design and implementation of model governance platform.

The responsibilities and expectations include and not limited to:

Quickly transition into the technology subject matter expert for the MRGR Hub platform with an in-depth understanding of the end to end business processes being supported

Partner and negotiate with senior MRGR business product owners to devise and develop the detailed requirements for upcoming products, enhancements, releases and overall technology modernization agenda

Lead a team of T-shaped software engineers (analysis, testing, agile scrum masters) to drive the development of all MRGR technology workstreams

Manage the end to end documentation and tracking of all workstream development efforts

Partner with Production Support (L1 and SRE) teams to define operational processes and procedures, and troubleshooting of Production issues.

Lead the STEM adoption and coordination for the organization, ensuring that leading practices are implemented and operationalized.

Develop and implement end to end automated regression test framework across all components of the application

Excellent Problem Solving capabilities, team coaching and partnership across technology and business teams.

Excellent knowledge of all the various development control tools to interface with the technology ISM team.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage team members and external business contacts including consultants and vendors

Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture

8+ years of technology experience, preferable in a Java/J2ee environment.

SQL query ability

Hands-on experience working on database technologies Oracle is preferred.

Nice to have: Experience working in various functional areas or T-Shaped environment would be highly desired

Cloud experience is desirable.
