The incumbent will be assigned duties of operating a 3/4 ton cargo van for purposes of delivering/retrieving interdepartmental and USPS mail, delivery of printed materials and courier services, sort interdepartmental mail to mail bins, process outgoing metered mail from state agencies, operate postage metering machine and weighing scales, retrieve and deliver any type of USPS mail to designated postal facility. Must possess a valid driver’s license at hiring and throughout employment a valid driver’s license.
In this position, travel between Dover and New Castle is required. You will be assigned to our Dover and our New Castle office depending on the need.

Adjusts, repairs, assembles, or prepares products, supplies, equipment, or other items according to specifications or customer requirements.
Operates a variety of equipment for the purpose of preparing, inspecting, weighing, evaluating, recording, marking, or transporting supplies, materials, equipment, or other articles.
Records type, quantity, value, or location of material, supplies, equipment or other articles received, shipped, used, or issued.
Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, instruments, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations; ensures security of inventory.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Supply, Storage and Distribution Clerk III
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Knowledge of operating equipment used to distribute and transport materials.
Knowledge of record keeping.
Knowledge of math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, or decimals.
