The Patient Access Manager oversees and provides leadership to Patient Access supervisors in multi-facility, integrated healthcare system. Manages the daily operations of the department and front-end revenue cycle functions, including demographical and insurance data collection, outpatient diagnostic scheduling, pre-registration, registration, financial clearance, payment collections, and document management for hospital services. Ensures teams maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Establishes and maintains positive business relationships to ensure effective and efficient coordination of services to promote department goals and objectives. Promotes exceptional patient experiences by demonstrating a high quality and professional level of service at all times and educating staff to achieve hospital standards.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Experience:

5 years of experience in related healthcare supervisory/management position

Supervisory experience in Patient Access or other Revenue Cycle functions

Computer/Software Knowledge:

Basic computer literacy

Knowledge of hospital information systems, MS office

Licensure/Certification

CHAM, CPAM or other hospital revenue cycle certification(s)

Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Analytical and exemplary problem solving skills

• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
