DuPont Electronic Poro Conversions has an opportunity for an experienced Technician at our Newark-Bellevue, Delaware site.
This position is responsible for manufacturing high quality rolled goods efficiently for the purpose of making polishing pads to meet customer demand.
The shift for this position is Nights: 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Sunday – Friday with overtime as required
Your key responsibilities:
+ Operate machinery including sanding buffers, a splitter, and embosser.Also specialty instrumentation including microscopes and other test devices for quality control of the product.
+ Wearing different types of PPE such as but not limited to: respirators, gloves, safety shoes, and approved safety glasses
+ Standing working at machines or tables
+ Lifting, carrying, and bending and the knees and waist
+ Moving rolls/ inventory from area to area
+ Computer work, printing labels, filling out data in the computer systems
+ Reading Standard operating procedures
+ Climbing stairs and ladders
+ Working in scissor/Aerial lifts
Your qualification profile:
+ High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
+ Previous manufacturing work experience
+ Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying degrees of temperatures and humidity
+ Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
+ Must be able to climb stairs, bend, squat, push, pull, and perform overhead work
+ Must be able to lift 20 – 30 pounds frequently, 40 – 50 pounds occasionally, Carry in left & right hands 15 pounds, Carry in two hands 20 pounds, Floor to waist 45 pounds x 4 reps, and Floor to overhead 25 pounds x 4 reps
+ Able to bend forward forward repetitively at waist 15 reps/1 minute
+ Able to squat repetitively 15 reps/1 minute
