Teach courses in the Department’s Health, Physical Activity, and Disability minor program, including Introduction to Adapted Physical Activity; establish a funded research program; supervise undergraduate and graduate student research and clinical experiences; and contribute service to the Department and University.

Must have a Ph.D. in Adapted Physical Activity/Education, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or a closely related field; at least two academic years (18 months) of applicable post-secondary teaching experience, including supervising student research and clinical experiences; a record of scholarly research, publications, and presentations related to minimizing health disparities in individuals with disabilities; and a record of obtaining external funding for such research.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three references. Review of applications will begin on April 1 and will continue until the position is filled.
