Position responsibilites include:
Conduct and record tests or checks on temperature, equipment, packaging, housekeeping and hygiene, product flow and equipment performance.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces up to four continuous hours with a minimum of 8 hours per shift
Must be physically able to travel to all areas of the plant
Must be able to communicate properly with all levels of management and USDA, to write and compile reports from test data, and be able to handle stress
Must have the ability to understand and follow instructions and to learn the methods and practices used in poultry processing. Must comply with all Quality Assurance and USDA regulations
Must be able to perform strenuous work in a damp environment with temperatures ranging from 45 to 55 degrees
