Job Description

Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) department offers the industry’s most comprehensive suite of treasury and trade solutions including cash management, payments, receivables, liquidity management and investment services, working capital solutions, commercial card programs, trade finance and services.

With a full range of digital and mobile enabled platforms, tools and analytics, Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions continues to lead the way in delivering innovative and tailored solutions to its clients. Our latest product offering, Spring by Citi, offers our clients a digital payments platform for e-commerce through a centralized payment gateway allowing access to several different payment networks across the globe covering card acquiring, alternative payment methods (APMs) e.g. e-Wallets and bank transfers (e.g. Open Banking).

As the Client Technical Integration Specialist you will be part of the wider TTS Implementation Team responsible for driving the growth of this new product by leading clients through their Spring by Citi integration journey and providing them the best experience possible to show them that that they made the right choice when selecting Citi as a partner.

Key Responsibilities

+ Become an expert on Spring by Citi APIs and how to best deploy them.

+ Be comfortable talking about technical concepts, with the ability to talk to product functionality as well as from an API architecture perspective.

+ Own the full onboarding cycle from the point of sale until a client is transacting in our live environment.

+ Be responsible for proactively developing and project managing a customer’s integration, strategy and timeline.

+ Partner with our Sales and Product organization’s in pre-sales discussions with prospective clients, consulting on our capabilities and technical integration know-how.

+ Lead and contribute to projects to develop, improve and scale our onboarding process.

+ Engage with our Product and Technology teams to help drive product strategy based on market and client insights and feedback.

Experience/Required Skills

+ You have experience of system integration through RESTful APIs into web or mobile applications, ideally with exposure to e-commerce / payment platforms.

+ Have experience in project managing customers and holding cross-functional teams accountable for delivery & timeline.

+ Intellectually curious, with great problem solving skills.

+ Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify suboptimal onboarding processes.

+ Ability to recognize repeated client issues with our products and processes and provide structured feedback to our Product and Technology teams.

+ Preferably have had some exposure to development languages.

+ Adept at managing client relationships and comfortable engaging in business and technical conversations at multiple levels of seniority within an organization.

+ Have worked with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Technology) to develop solutions to meet customer objectives.

+ Build a strong relationship with Product, Technology, Operations and Service partners

+ Coordinate all related internal and external project related activities. Well versed with relative product responsibilities. Will act as the primary interface / project manager to client

+ Adherence to implementation methodology and policies

+ Superior verbal and written communication skills.
