Job Description

Kforce has a client in search of a Transaction Process Specialist in Newark, DE.Duties Include:

  • Setup and maintenance of all derivatives static data within various financial reporting application systems such as (i.e. Derivclear, Wins, Calypso, IX, and FARA)
  • Maintain strong working relationships with global functional teams such as Trade Capture, Valuation & Control Group, Fund Accounting and Client Services
  • Incumbent will ensure appropriate and timely escalation of issues
  • Drive Middle Office change Management and Technology to increase automation and controls
  • Identify process and control improvements and maintain control checks
  • Support of UAT Testing
  • Use innovation to deliver results and develop cost effective solutions for operational issues
  • Understand and adhere to the controls and regulations surrounding the products and processes
  • Challenge existing processes to enhance controls and efficiency
  • Adhere to the IB Settlements Policy and other applicable regulations when executing the function
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong level of initiative and drive to succeed
  • Proven ability to work independently and with a team
  • Basic understanding of securities and derivatives products
  • Excellent desktop and analytical skills; Access or VBA experience a plus
  • Comfort liaising with internal partners and external clients
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships across multiple internal functions & groups
  • Existing relationships and networks within Company IB community an advantage
  • Ability to understand the business drivers that influence the regulatory atmosphere
  • Ability to quickly understand workings of a complex processing system
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a constantly changing environment
