Job Summary (Primary function)
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for administration and management aspects of the Salesforce software platform which is utilized for the Legal contract management system (built on Apttus platform).

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

  • Salesforce System AdministrationServe as primary system administrator and point of contact for the legal contract management system.
    Handle all basic administrative functions including set-up and configurations, standard objects, custom objects and tabs, user account maintenance, reports/dashboards, workflows/triggers, other routine tasks, role hierarchies, sharing rules, Chatter.
    Complete regular internal system audits and back-ups.
    Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
    Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
    Assist in training of new users, and grow the skill set across the organization.
    Effectively act as the liaison between Internal and external users and different businesses.
    Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.
    Handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
    Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
    Assess the impact of new requirements in the legal database and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Administration with certification in Salesforce administration (required) and certification in platform development a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and document management skills are required.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong project and data management ability.
  • Demonstrate analytical ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Apttus Contract Management system preferred.
