Job Description

CAMP COUNSELORS – Full and Part-Time Positions
SUMMER RECREATION LEADERS – Part-Time Positions
(CSW III, $11.10-$12.10/hr.)
Applicants must possess a high school diploma/GED and be at least 18 years of age.
• Plans, organizes, and directs camp programs and activities at the direction of Head Counselor;
• Supervises camp children ensuring safety and positive behavior;
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively;
HEAD CAMP COUNSELORS – Full and Part-Time Positions
RECREATION COORDINATORS – Part-Time Positions
(CSW IV, $11.60-$12.60/hr.)

Applicants should have at least three years of experience leading groups of children. Teachers, para-professionals and coaches are encouraged to apply.
• Responsible for day to day operation of summer camp program and activities at specific site;
• May supervise subordinate camp staff;
• Maintains camp records and submits reports;
• Oversees safety and behavior of youth; making onsite appropriate decisions;
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively.

CAMP COORDINATOR – Full-Time Positions
SENIOR RECREATION COORDINATORS – Part-Time Positions
(CSW V, $12.10-$13.10/hr.)

Applicants must have completed two years of college and have at least three years of experience leading groups of children. Current and former teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Oversees several summer camp locations including supervision of subordinate staff;
• Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of youth participants and promoting positive behavior;
• Responsible for implementation of NCC rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and programming;
• Serves as primary liaison between programs and Program Manager;
• Works independently and make appropriate decisions;
• Helps to investigate and resolve complaints and inquiries;
• Maintains camp records and submits reports.
