Workflow Business Analyst – Associate

JPMorgan

Asset & Wealth Management. Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within
Commercial Banking and provides loan servicing functions to all four JPMorgan
lines of business.

Position Overview

The
Workflow Business Analyst (BA) works collaboratively with the development team
and user groups to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for
Workflow functionality. The BA handles project-level business engagement with
users, translating business needs into technical requirements per existing
processes and controls.

Responsibilities:

+ Partner with relevant stakeholdersto document requirements, working closely with technology development teams toensure user acceptance criteria are met prior to implementation

+ Establishworking relationships and routinely interface with: project sponsors, businessstakeholders, Technology, Subject Matter Experts (SMES), and other functionalpartners.

+ Representthe user group by presenting document requirements to the technology teams,Gather stakeholder input and signoff as required

+ Supportthe testing teams’ understanding of requirements and test functionality asneeded

+ Assistwith Governance of new requests by participating in discussions for inclusionin Product Backlog

+ Demonstrateincreasing levels of business and technical acumen in order to effectivelybridge the gap between business and technology

+ Gainunderstanding of the application in order to suggest approaches and design

+ Providetimeline estimates to project plans as needed

+ Providesign off to technology team that requirements are understood

+ Participatein regular project meetings to report on deliverables

+ Provideoversight to the UAT Team and coordinate user testing as needed

+ Partnerwith appropriate resources to provide/complete required project documentation(process flows, gap analysis, procedures, etc.)

+ Provideuser support during production incidents and proactively communicate status

Skills andQualifications :

+ BA/BSdegree or equivalent work experience required

+ Experiencein loan operations and/or loan technology preferred

+ Agile/Scrumproject management methodology experience is a plus

+ Stronganalytical, communication (verbal and written), and delivery skills

+ Ableto work well in a team environment

+ Proficiencyin MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MSPowerPoint

+ Ableto work with cross-functional teams and interact with all staff levels

+ Ableto operate semi-independently, follow tight deadlines and prioritize work

+ Demonstratesincreasing levels of business and technical acumen in order to effectivelyengage with Feature Team and bridge the gap between business and technology

Location : Preferably in Dallas-Fort Worth/Plano, TX or Newark, DE or Chicago, IL or Columbus, OH
