Sposato Landscape Co seeks 84 temp FT Landscape Laborer from 4/1/20-11/30/20. Duties: Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial or public property; cut grass, use mowers, trim hedges, edge walkways, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools, prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools, sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide. Planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, water use hose or activate sprinkler system, pick up or carts away leaves, paper or other litter & other related Landscape Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011
Work site(s): Provided daily transportation to and from the worksite; begin in Milton, Sussex County, DE 19968 .
$13.87/hr. Mon-Sun; days and shifts vary; 40 hrs/wk. Shifts 7am-4:30pm. OT may be avail. @ $20.81/hr. Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid bi-weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation & subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.46p/day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 p/day with receipts.
