Job Description

The Controllers team within Chase Auto (“CA”) is seeking a motivated individual to support the accounting function for loan and lease accounting processes which includes Retail and Private Label relationships as well as auto dealer groups. Other responsibilities will include daily/monthly general ledger processes, resolution of business related inquiries and internal reporting.

This position will also partner close with peers from within the Controllers team and the Line of Business CFOs.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting skills and possess strong verbal and written communications skills. Responsibilities for this position include but not all encompassing:

+ Accounting and analysis of various fees due to clients and dealer groups on a monthly and quarterly basis

+ Adhere to time sensitive requirements for calculation, approval and payments for fees due to Private Label relationships and auto dealer group

+ Prepare journal entries for various transactions such as client/dealer fees and related amortization

+ Provide support and analytics for various tax related processes

+ Provide support and reporting for daily funding to auto dealers


+ Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance

+ 3+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting

+ Experience working with all levels of management and operations groups

+ Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office) are required

+ Knowledge of SAP General Ledger and Dodeca Essbase a plus

+ Strong written, presentation and verbal communications skills

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to details

+ Self-motivated with strong planning, time management and multitasking skills
