Job Description

Firmwide Data Management (FDM) serves as the governing body to create Firmwide standards
that drive consistent data management practices, develop technologies and
processes to support data management, and partner with LOBs to embed data
management best practices and capabilities. Within FDM, the Firmwide Data Use
(FDU) function was established in response to the emerging risk of data use
within the firm and outside with 3rd parties, and focuses on
initiatives that enhance and protect the value of JPMC’s data while enabling
its use in the rapidly evolving “Big Data” economy.

This position will report to the Firmwide Data Use, within Firmwide Data
Management, and will manage the process to ensure appropriate governance on the
use of data for data leaving the firm to 3rd parties inclusive of
suppliers, clients and partners and internal use of data. This role involves substantial cross business interaction
and a technology control mind set.


This role will be responsible for a
variety of tasks:

+ Data Use capture and identification analysis -Document platform requirements, engage technical and business subjectmatter experts to refine existing and build new processes

+ Data Use metrics analysis – Identify,assess, and document Data Use metrics reporting requirements, partner withTechnology to recommend strategic solutions and advise stakeholders onoptions, risks and costs

+ Change implementation – Coordinate testing oftooling enhancements / fixes

+ BAU support to Data Use functions – Monitorshared inbox, triage queries and resolve day-to-day production issues

+ Weekly newsletter – Review relevant Data Usearticles and compile weekly newsletter

+ Senior management updates – Assist withcontent creation for regular senior management forums

+ Prior experience of business analysis or planmanagement in a financial services, operational or technology environmentpreferred

+ Prior experience or working knowledge of metricsreporting preferred

+ Very strong analytical, prioritisation, andorganisational skills

+ Attention to technical detail, seek outpotential problem area and follow-up with experts

+ Logical and structured approach to planning,problem solving, and decision-making

+ Ability to work under pressure to meetdeadlines

+ Confident to question business and technologyrequirements and solutions respectively

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Required: Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred: Visio, Projects
