Corian Design Finance Manager (Job Number: 207636W-01)



As the Global Financial Manager
of Corian® Design, within the Shelter line of business (LOB), this role
provides both strategic & execution-focused financial leadership, and
financial & business counsel to the Americas Corian Commercial leader and
the Asia Pacific Shelter Commercial leader while supporting the Shelter Finance
Leader and Shelter GLT.

Scope of role includes:

+ Provides leadership to meet businessobjectives and ensure timely, accurate and insightful analysis of businessperformance and forecast.

+ Leads all financial aspectsassociated with DIBM 5 steps, takes ownership of the Global IntegratedReconciliation Step, and provides input into the Shelter MBR.

+ Manages all financial aspects of theCorian® Design annual Strategy Review and Execution Review preparation process& supports the over-all Shelter LOB in preparation for these reviews.

+ Manages the global financialforecasting/reporting processes, executes the Americas and Asia Pacific forecasting/reportingprocesses and recommends changes as required, working across several systemsand meeting the needs of several key stakeholders.

+ Ensures appropriate financialsupport on complex business decisions for Corian® Design with focus on Earningsimprovement and the very dynamic surface market.

+ Provides cross-business coordinationon financial matters related to all LOB initiatives and forecasting, includingad hoc financial modeling and investment proposals working closely with AmericasCorian and APEJ Shelter Regional Commercial Leaders, Corian Marketing, andTechnical Teams.

+ Manages and develops Corian® Design finance analysts(2)

+ Ensures integrity of financialresults.

+ Ensures adherence to financialpolicies within the business, based on corporate guidelines and businessstrategies (including SOX compliance for business finance processes).

+ Must operate well in across-cultural environment and lead the organization to operate to maximizelong-term business profitability and success. In addition, the incumbent is akey member of the Shelter financial leadership team, with shared responsibilityfor data quality, functional costs, financial systems and work processes andcorporate financial policies.CRITICAL SKILL SETS:

+ Experience and expertise in businessanalysis, financial/decision modeling, financial systems and processes, andS&OP planning Businessacumen including ability to simplify and articulatefinancial issues and business impacts.

+ Strong interpersonal skills andemotional intelligence to effectively influence and drive business results bygaining alignment and inspiring trust.

+ Capability and desire lead and develop business financeanalysts

+ Understanding of financial andinternal control policies and standards.

+ Comfortable in a visible,fast-paced, dynamic, and uncertain business environment.


Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Technical Field. MBA strongly preferred.

+ A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance. Successful work experience in at least three of the following areas: Business Finance, M&A, Accounting, Credit, Treasury, Tax, Auditing, Six Sigma or other diverse business experiences.

+ Excellent analytical, decision support and influence/negotiation skills and the ability to assist the business team in defining and executing business plans and growth projects (e.g. ability to articulate financial issues and impacts in the business context). Candidate must be a proven leader with strong global networking and teamwork skills. Business Finance expertise is essential to participate in business strategy development and financial support of the execution of those strategies.

+ Strong computer skills in software and mainframe applications; examples include but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, GCAP, BW and SAP.

+ Excellent communication skills required.
