Background & Position Summary

Citi US Branded Cards is a market leader in the credit card industry. With a pre-eminent global brand and distribution, US Branded Cards maintains its leadership position by delivering industry-leading products, advanced services and payment systems that address clients’ evolving needs.

This position is part of the Lending Product team, within the larger US Branded Cards organization. The Lending Product team is responsible for building and managing products that best meet consumer needs related to borrowing and deliver sustainable revenue growth for Citi. This includes Non-Card Unsecured Lending products, such as Personal Loans, and On-Card Lending features, such as Flex Loan and Flex Pay, which have just launched this year. This team oversees the P&L for our existing product suite, as well as product feature backlogs, positioning, customer experience, and operational excellence for those products.

The AVP, Product Testing & Assurance will be responsible for ensuring flawless delivery of complex Lending product enhancements and features. This role will create and execute test plans & simulations in support of upcoming product releases, in close partnership with Product Owners, Technology, Operations and other internal stakeholders. This individual will champion product quality for the Lending team and establish a rigorous set of testing standards. This position will be a critical member of the Product Development team and will play an integral role in improving product quality and the overall experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

+ Partner with Product Owners and Technology teams to develop understanding of business requirements for key projects on the Lending roadmap

+ Define test resources, timelines, tools and approach, right sized for the complexity of each initiative and delivery method

+ Facilitate meetings to execute test plans & scripts

+ Perform estimation simulations and sample testing for key projects owned, and ensure high quality product functionality, usability, and security

+ Define metrics of success and report results to cross functional partners and senior leadership

+ Assist in the design and build of Lending product enhancements as needed

Candidate Qualifications

+ 2+ years in quality assurance, product development, project management, or similar role

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

+ Experience in reviewing technical requirements, creating test plans, and supporting new product or feature launches

+ Strong attention to detail and system/process oriented mindset

+ Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, complex projects at once with minimal guidance

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to find, analyze, and distill data into actionable insights

+ Experience with SQL, SAS, or other analytical tools is a plus

+ Will to win and a desire to have fun
