As a member

In the role
you will work in a collaborative team of software engineering professionals. As
a Site Reliability Engineer you will be part of a horizontal function that is
responsible to ensure that the practices, processes and tools are in place to
ensure stability and functionality of each application in production. This team
will ensure the highest level of quality and success in support of technical
issues, DR testing, and hardware/software updates

This
role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

+ BS/BAdegree or equivalent experience

+ Advancedknowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

+ Understandingof architecture and design across all systems

+ Workingproficiency in developmental toolsets

+ Knowledgeof industry wide technology trends and best practices

+ Abilityto work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, andpassionate about building an innovative culture

+ Proficiencyin one or more modern programming languages Python, Java/J2EE

+ Understandingof software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance andsoftware improvement

+ 3 years of experience with relational databases – SQLServer or Oracle

+ Experience on Big Data technology Hive, Impala, Spark,Cluster Computing

+ Strong hold on Unix and good with Shell Scripting

+ Excellent knowledge of Apache, Tomcat

+ Excellent knowledge of Spring framework

+ Solid understanding of Object Oriented Designmethodologies

+ Strong understanding of database concepts andexperience with a relational database
