Job Description


+ Lead relationships and drive global initiatives and strategies with key vendors including the consumer and commercial credit bureaus and other data vendors.

+ Managing partner/vendor relations and performance; evaluating proposals, structure and negotiating agreements

+ Design and deliver a comprehensive vendor data strategy optimizing expenses and performance

+ Lead enterprise contract strategy and negotiations with key data suppliers in partnership with Citi’s Global Procurement organization

+ Provide insight driven recommendations to enhance Citi’s data vendor strategies and drive synergies across Citi lines of business

+ Drive transformational change through coordination of data strategies and related activities across Risk Management and Marketing

+ Define next-gen uses for regulated and unregulated data to enhance targeting efficiency across distribution channels

+ Design and manage executive level reporting on key metrics with senior and executive management

+ Manage budgeting, forecasting and expense management initiatives with key vendors under management

+ Engage with Legal and Compliance to ensure permissibility of data uses

+ Manage a team bank officers

+ Responsible to grow talent for the organization and develop career planning for all employees in the department

+ Owns the capacity planning, resource forecasting and talent development for the Global Information Management Team

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior and conduct


+ 10+ years of experience working with data vendors and strategies, consumer/commercial credit bureau experience is a strong plus

+ Experience managing partner/vendor relations and performance; evaluating proposals, structure and negotiation enterprise agreements

+ Ability to present technical/analytical information to non-technical audiences

+ Proven ability to work cross-functionally within an organization to accomplish objectives

+ Acumen working in a technical environment to solve business related problems

+ Ability to partner with colleagues to develop new customer centric data strategies and opportunities

+ Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage projects from end-to-end as well as to facilitate meetings, keeping participants focused on the agenda.

+ Understanding of legal, regulatory environment and experience within a highly controlled environment.


+ Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
