Barclays Bank Delaware seeks an AVP, Partner Analytics Lead for its Wilmington, DE location.
Duties: Develop and apply mathematical/statistical modeling to perform complex and advanced data analysis, financial modeling and valuations. Drive Partnership Acquisition growth and risk-reward profitability analysis and recommend management investment decision proposals. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure that practices and policies are aligned across the organization to deliver growth in new accounts, expected financial and credit performance from partnership business. Evaluate strategies and create P&L statements to determine if financial hurdle thresholds are being met. Gather, analyze and interpret statistical data and recommend areas of opportunity for partnership business. Design statistical tests and improve analytical techniques to evaluate and utilize data for decisioning and targeting capabilities. Perform product and partner evaluation and presenting product changes and recommendations for partnership business. Utilize additional data sources, such as partner data and bureau data, to calibrate existing partner acquisition strategies.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Finance, or closely related quantitative discipline and 3 years of experience in the position offered or as a Senior/Financial Analyst, or closely related position. Demonstrated experience must include: Utilizing SAS, SQL, R and MS Excel to conduct data mining, analysis, manipulation and modeling of data sets; Providing analytical support on key cross functional projects related to business strategies (across Acquisition, ECM and Technology); Performing statistical analysis for developing models and validating test designs to optimize new partner acquisition; Analyzing customer data to drive future growth and strategies; Interpreting and leveraging data to optimize profitability and potential prospective partner additions; Performing financial analysis and valuation to analyze and create P&L scenarios and support new product development and initiatives; and Utilizing predictive analytics to predict behavior and customize targeting strategies. 40 hrs/wk.
