2020 Spring Safety & Construction SG&V Co-op (Job Number: LIM00001073)


& Construction is a leading provider of engineered products and
integrated systems for the construction, worker safety, energy, oil & gas,
transportation, water purification and medical markets. The Strategy,
Growth & Ventures (SG&V) Strategy group would like energetic co-op/interns
to be a part of their team. They will play an important part of the team
supporting development and execution of inorganic business strategies. A
SG&V Co-op/Intern will have the opportunity to support active M&A
programs (due diligence, presentation development, data analysis) and assist in
the M&A strategy development process. A SG&V Co-op/Intern will also be
expected to assist in internal strategic and execution review efforts, plus
segment or new domain deep dives. This opportunity requires a commitment of four to six months, with session availability starting in January 2020

As part
of the SG&V team, this person will play an integral part of helping find
new growth opportunities for Safety & Construction (S&C). We will
depend on the SG&V intern to help us meet our goals.


Your key responsibilities:

+ Support active M&A Projects

+ Act as a key component on the project team to facilitateproject management in a fast moving environment

+ Coordinate activities between stakeholders and crossfunctional teams

+ Support development of project materials for internalassessment process

+ Assist in inorganic growth development processes

+ Partner with business, function and segment leaders toanalyze markets/applications

+ Identify potential targets by conducting value chain analysis

+ Find, analyze and/or summarize market reports pertaining toSafety & Construction

+ Support the technology team in new domain opportunities viamarket and data analysis

+ Support internal strategic and execution review efforts


Essential requirements

+ Currentlyenrolled on an MBA program with an emphasis on marketing, corporate strategy,or general management

+ Clearand effective communicator

+ Knowledgeof financial analysis and business valuation

+ Abilityto perform independent business assessments and market analysis

+ Abilityto manage multiple projects and/or tasks at one time

+ Provenproject management experience

+ StrongExcel, PowerPoint, and Word skills

+ Havethe right to work in the U.S. without restriction


+ 1-3years’ Experience in M&A, corporate development and/or business strategy

+ 1-3 years’ Experience in keybusiness functions e.g. marketing, sales operations, product development etc.

+ Experience working with CapitalIQ, FactSet, or similar products
