Job Description

The Fraud Sr VP of Technology responsibilities include:

+ Manage all aspects of the Fraud Innovation Technology group.

+ Maintain partnerships with internal and external customers and provide strategic and tactical insight into technology solutions.

+ Own all of application support and development for current and future Fraud Applications.

+ Ensure optimal resource use across managed technology groups to provide maximum ROI.

+ Leads team with customer first approach that creates economic value for both customers and shareholders.

+ Participates in new and existing projects and finds areas to contribute value through automation and simplified end user process.

+ Owns group managed infrastructure and partners with IT resources for IT managed infrastructure to ensure modernization and compatibility across entire leverage stack.

+ Pushes for adoption and integration of new technologies and processes to enhance overall capabilities.

+ Ensure COB resources and systems are in place and successful testing is maintained.

+ Manages all security concerns and ensure group maintains Citi standards for info and application security.

+ Creates high level application process document and leads group through POCs for new application and infrastructure.

+ Oversees all Architecture decisions prior to beginning development efforts.

+ Participate and takes lead role in projects from inception to kick off and ensures alignment of technology group and business stakeholders.

Job Skills/Qualifications

+ BS/BA in computer science or other technical discipline

+ Knowledge of Database Administration – Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 – 5+ years

+ Database Development – Advanced T-SQL – 5+ years

+ Microsoft BI – SSIS, SSRS, SSAS – 5+ years

+ Knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem of Tools (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Impala, MapReduce)

+ Ability to manage multiple large scale projects in excess of $10M.

+ Experience managing a diverse data infrastructure across multiple platforms such as: mainframe, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata.

+ Ability to create presentation depicting complex technology and processes that can be understood by non-technical staff and leadership.

+ Experience in review and evaluation of new applications, vendors, and methods to provide guidance assisting leadership on purchase and contract decisions.

+ Experience creating forward looking solutions that anticipate future client and system needs.

+ Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes needed to facilitate accurate and timely information delivery.

+ Ability to look across functions and merge disparate systems and process to provide cross functional sharing of information and remove knowledge silos.

+ Experience creating high level project sizing and projecting resources requirements.

+ Create and manages progressive IT roadmap that keeps group on a path to sustainable modernization.

Nice to have:

+ Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, MongoDB

+ Understanding of data mining, machine learning, natural language processing

+ Experience with IT budgeting: resources, infrastructure, and applications

+ Experience with technical vendor management and purchasing
