Line of Business Role Description

Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience. May manage staff

+ Support the Operations teams related to all aspects of Issues and/or Audits and Exams.

+ Partner with the LOB leaders and Business Controls team to ensure all actions are completed within required timelines.

+ Serve as a primary liaison with Business Control, engaging and partnering with the assigned contact from that team.

+ Ensure any risks associated with execution and/or timeline are immediately escalated.

+ Provide oversight and a control perspective related to all issues or audit/exam aspects.

+ Develop robust work plans to monitor and ensure issue progression and timely closure

+ Partner with the LOB leaders and Business Controls team to ensure all actions are completed within required timelines.

+ Provide ongoing reporting for both Issues and Audit/Exams

+ Prepare Executive level PowerPoint decks as needed

+ Support one-time deliverables and special projects as needed

Required Skills:

+ Previous or Current experience or background in assisting with Issues and/or Audits/Exams is required

+ Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

+ This role will require utilizing data from various sources and creating reports via Excel/PowerPoint

+ Prior reporting experience and prior experience developing executive presentations (PowerPoint Decks)

+ Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing

+ Able to interact effectively with all levels in the organization

+ Strong relationship building skills

+ Able to influence others to succeed without managing resources

+ Must be self-motivated with a desire to excel

+ Attention to detail

+ Ability to connect dots and how topics relate and interact

+ Able to operate in a highly complex and fast-paced environment

+ Able to deliver on time
