My name is Juilian Greene and I am a Recruiter with Kelly Services, Inc., a Fortune 500 workforce solutions company. We are currently seeking to fill an A/R Collections position in Wilmington, DE . I have attached the details of the opportunity below:
Duration: 6+ months
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00/HOUR
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
The main functions of a A/R Collections are to gather and analyze financial information and a typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing, simple reconciliations and communicating information for clients.
+ Monitor and pursue collections of unpaid receivables across multiple lines of business. Research more complex (aged) receivables that need in-depth research and reconciliation expertise.\t
+ Provide technical support to our offshore India team in the way of answering questions and oversight help in the way of researching items that India employees are working on.\t
+ Reconcile more challenging premium differences and disputed transactions within current month. Place diary messages on all differences and/disputes of action taken.\t
+ Initiate and review receivable documents throughout the month to ensure all collectible balances and aged items have been addressed and will clear prior to month end closing.\t
+ Collect all payments due in accordance with and within the North American credit term guidelines.\t
+ Provide monthly status reports to Team Leader/Manager in support of receivable analysis reporting. Report to include any outstanding delinquent collectible balances, aged, and backdated items for assigned brokers/agents across business lines.\t
+ Investigate and resolved disputed items, reconcile balances as required, follow up on corrective action until balance is resolved.\t
+ Completed disbursements, journals, and other accounting functions as dictated by Accounting Best Practices.\t
+ Participate in monthly conference calls with field locations and Financial Officers.\t
+ Act as back up to Team Leader and accept additional responsibilities as needed.\t
+ Participate in training of new hires and cross training within the department.
+ Reports directly to the Manager, Producer Billing and Collections
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.\t
+ Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills required.\t
+ Ability to recognize and adapt to changing priorities and workflows as needed.\t
+ Technical proficiency and experience in working with electronic inquiry systems, Excel, Microsoft Word and other applicable electronic tools.\t
+ Willingness to display a positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to daily work assignment.\t
+ Demonstrate the ability to interact with agents, brokers, production and processing offices working to research and resolve problems.\t
+ Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing\t
+ Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\t
+ Demonstrate the ability to identify work processes that will enhance productivity.
