This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
+ BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
+ Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
+ Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
+ Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
+ Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
+ Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
+ Proficiency with automation tools (such as HP QTP, LoadRunner); LISA is a plus.Proficiency with test management tool (HP Quality Center/ALM).Proficiency in Back-End testing, familiarity with hierarchical and relational databases, and developing SQL/PL*SQL queries to interact with Databases
+ Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
+ Develop testing solution that focuses first on establishing basic test platform, with future focus on automated testing. Work in conjunction with the Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure that applications meet requirements and are of high quality. Leverage deep knowledge of multiple complex applications and provides subject matter expertise to set direction and create test strategies and test plans for one or more releases of an application. Reviews Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify those requirements are successfully met.
+ Participates in cross-functional discussions to review the impact of application changes from both internal and external interfaces on the quality of their applications. Create manual/automation scripts – manual data testing. Executes test scripts and documents defects for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results. Ensure testing thoroughly and accurately documented following JPMC standards and utilizing prescribed testing application (ALM).Manage defect tracking and reporting and ensure proper re-testing of all defects.Contribute to the development of testing processes and procedures in accordance with JPMC standards.Identify opportunities for testing automation and facilitate creation of standardized test suites for processes/projects where appropriate.Working with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality controls across SDLC
+ Minimum 8 years of Software Development experience including Quality Assurance testing.Experience in Test Driven Development process is a must.Minimum 3 years of automation experience (HP QTP tool / Cucumber Gherkin).Extensive years of experience in developing Test Plans, Test Cases and SQL Script development.Functional UNIX and Windows experience (including scripting and automation) required
+ Experience with the development of successful quality control procedures, QA programs, regression, load, benchmarking, White and Black Box testing
