Job Description

Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc., a leading structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator, has an opening for a full-time EHS Manager. This position has the goal of improving safety at the company and making procedures consistent, both in the shops and on job sites.
Responsible for all aspects of EHS, including OSHA, environmental record keeping, safety audits, accident investigations, and identifying workplace hazards.
At a minimum, travel once or twice a quarter to each company location (Hatfield, PA; Delmar, DE; Federalsburg, MD; Memphis, TN) to review safety procedures and to conduct safety training.
Provide support to managers for safety meetings and department work modifications.
Extensive travel to jobsites to review safety procedures and processes. Conduct on-site safety meetings as necessary. Certain jobs may require substantial presence as a safety representative.
Review injury/accident reports to ensure incidents are properly reported and the appropriate actions have been taken to prevent recurrence.
Update, revise, and maintain current safety program, procedures, and manual.
Conduct all new hire safety orientation via GoToMeeting
Represent the company during safety meetings with general contractors.
Drive employee engagement to create and foster a proactive, empowered safety culture.
In partnership with the HR Department, actively manage Workers’ Compensation cases.
